HARTFORD, CT, 11 March 2022 – Following the release of their first single and  title track off their new album, “Predator,” independent hard rock act DC Wolves brings fans another new taste of their new sound in the new music video for “Lie Down.”

Filmed by Ryan Sindler, the video taps into the band’s nuanced storytelling roots, exploring the chill of dark realization and the allure of a dangerous stranger. DC Wolves presents a daunting offering that lives deep in the textures and tonality of the track, as well as the slow-motion visuals.

“‘Lie Down’ was the last song I wrote for the album,” said Cahill. “When I started to sit down to work on it, I decided I wanted to approach a different vibe to what I had already touched on previously. Something slow, dark, and sexy. And in putting a gnarly bass groove to it, the more delicate guitar and airy vocal melodies really stood out.”

Predator is set for release on March 25, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Bandcamp. All purchases and pre-orders until the album's release will be donated to humanitarian efforts to support Ukraine. Learn more and stay in touch at

About DC Wolves:

On the fringes of a main road in a small Connecticut town, self-built songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Dan Cahill spent endless hours hunting down every note he could play and every sound he could imagine. As years of playing in metal, rock, and shoegaze bands blended into routine, Cahill grew an appetite for both creative autonomy and synergistic collaboration. In 2016, he ventured out into the wilderness in search of a sound he could call his own, and a pack of original minds to bring it to life. It wasn’t until the next year that his music took shape and his solo project, DC Wolves rose to the surface. Three albums later, the band has garnered sonic prowess that only continues to mature with each release.
